Working with industry leaders in Africa, Europe and North America, he has been involved in entire software development and implementation projects.He holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Benin, and has attended executive courses at reputable business schools such as Cambridge University & MIT programs run by Judge Business School. Prior to co-founding Nathan Claire, he led Neptune Software plc UK to achieve a 5th place Gartner ranking for core banking system providers.
Chibuzo is a philanthropist, an avid squash player and an opinion leader in Africa for Payments, Mobile-Centric Lending and Financial Services.
Mark Sibthorpe
Independant DirectorMark is the founder of FSIM.ca as well as Banknews.tv, a Canadian news aggregation and analytics company for banks, insurance and fintech/insuretech companies. He is a Credit and Loyalty expert with mobile payments and banking experience dating back to 2001. More recently, Mark worked with leading industry experts to build a coalition credit and loyalty program for 10 large retailers with an estimated $4 bn in transactions per year. In 2009 and 2010, Mark was part of a partnership that revolutionized payments in the bankruptcy trustee industry by migrating 900 bankruptcy trustees from cheques to electronic payments, generating an estimated US$2 bn in deposits. Mark has led several high profile digital projects involving Netscape, Siemens, Bank Tokyo Mitsubishi and others. Mark’s specialty is the optimizing of payments, loyalty and credit cards strategies. Amongst several other achievements, he has published several articles and very recently, a book on Mobile Payments to help businesses build strategies related to mobile payments, credit and loyalty.
Fola Kuforiji
Independant DirectorFola holds a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, an MBA from Lagos Business School, and an Executive MBA from the IESE Business School, University of Navarra in Barcelona. He has attended professional courses in Nigeria, Canada, China and the US, the most recent being Harvard Business School's executive course on Transforming Customer Experiences in April 2023. Fola has designed payment systems for large volume processors in transportation, banking as well as oil & gas sectors. He was Managing Director of Ambico Sendirian (Nigeria) Limited, Operations Director of IPCO Nigeria, a member of the IPCO International Group of Singapore, and he sits on the board of several private companies as non-executive director. Fola is a Registered Engineer with The Council for Regulation of Engineers in Nigeria (COREN) and a member of the Society for Corporate Governance Nigeria, Project Management Institute (PMI), and the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE).
Nneka Ene
Executive Director, West AfricaNneka has over 17 years of relevant business management, business development, marketing, account management and project management experience. She earned a degree in Pharmacy from the University of Benin in 1994 and after practicing pharmacy for 5 years, her career took a sudden turn into business and technology. Nneka serves on the board of a number of reputable companies such as Valiant Oil and Hospitality and Logistics Africa, where she was the Managing Director. In addition to her professional endeavors, Nneka is actively involved in Christian ministry, community development activities, public and motivational speaking, and volunteers for many programs that support the welfare and development of the girl-child across Africa.
Pius Kirera
Executive Director, East AfricaPius holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology. He is a Prince2 Practitioner who has attended numerous professional courses. He has over 15 years of experience in Banking Systems Project Management and Implementation, Digital Product Innovation, Design, Development & Implementation of a multi-channel platform(s). He previously worked for Equity Bank Kenya and ABC Bank Kenya. His most recent role prior to joining the Nathan Claire team was as Senior Projects Manager at Family Bank, one of the largest commercial banks in Kenya.
Wole Akala
Director Digital Transformation ServicesWole heads Nathan Claire's Digital Transformation consulting practice. He holds a B.SC Business Administration from the University of Lagos as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Howard University, USA. He is a highly experienced and resourceful PMP Certified Agile Project Manager and Certified Scrum Master (CSM) with over 15 years of specific experience with demonstrated successful track record of deliverables working on different projects including SDLC, ERP, and IT (software/hardware), Enterprise application solutions and IT infrastructures. He has experience in diverse multi-criteria decision analysis and performance management measures, utilizing data analytics, and business intelligence reporting. He is an experienced Agile Scrum Master with both strong Agile Scrum delivery skills and project facilitation experience. Over the past 13 years, Wole has been based in the US working for companies such as Digital Solutions Warehouse and Cybern Consulting Group.
